The Shaykh spoke about the methods of reform.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : I do not think I have anything to add to what has been mentioned, except that many of those who claim to be reformers and agree with us that one should not rush matters or change evil by force and harshness—I do not believe that many of these people who claim to reform in the best manner are actually following the path of reform. For you know, and praise be to Allah, that following the path of reform requires knowledge, and knowledge of a specific type that the masses of Muslim scholars do not know today, let alone students of knowledge, let alone those who claim to be Islamic callers seeking reform among the Muslims and to return the Muslims to what the pious predecessors were upon. I believe that many of these people who claim to be reformers, and who may even be called by that very name, have not followed the path of reform.
