Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : In its final section, you ask about the ruling on exchanging greetings with the fiancé's father during the courtship period, specifically regarding looking at his face?

The Shaykh : This is also not permissible, not permissible. It is not permissible for a woman to uncover her face for the fiancé's father, because he is not a mahram (a relative one may not marry) to her until after the contract is concluded. As for her uncovering her face for the fiancé, there is nothing wrong with it. She may uncover her face for the fiancé, but without seclusion with a non-mahram, without desire, and without taking pleasure in looking at her. Rather, she uncovers her face for him only for the purpose of inspection. If he desires and she desires, the contract is concluded between them; otherwise, each remains in his father's house. Yes.

The questioner : May Allah reward you, O honorable Shaykh, and may Allah bless you and your knowledge, and benefit Islam and the Muslims through you.
O dear brothers and listeners, His Eminence has answered your questions.
