He spoke about the hadith: (Whoever drags his garment out of arrogance).

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : The authentic hadith reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said in a gathering that also included women:
Whoever drags his garment out of arrogance, Allah the Mighty and Majestic will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection.
One of the women said, “O Messenger of Allah, what if our feet become exposed?” He (peace be upon him) said:
They should extend it by a shibr (a span).
She said, “What if the wind blows and exposes them?” He (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
They should extend it by another shibr (a span), meaning a cubit, and not exceed it.
This is how the jilbab of the Muslim woman was in the time of the revelation of the verse mentioned earlier,
to bring down over themselves [part] of their outer garments
[Al-Ahzab 33:59]
The jilbab used to cover the feet, as socks, which are now widespread among both women and men, were not widespread in that era. The woman would cover her legs and feet with the long jilbab, which resembles the abaya. Therefore, it is not permissible for the Muslim woman to expose her feet while on the road, and a fortiori, it is not permissible for her to pray with her feet exposed. Finally, I think this is the answer to the last question. It is not permissible for a woman who does not wear the hijab, let alone one who does, to use makeup. The disbeliever’s makeup, the corrupt makeup. When you know any of the adornments of women, it is called by a name for which Allah has not sent down any authority. “Makeup” is a language we do not know, neither we nor our fathers before us. It is a foreign term that expresses the adornment of the open sinners, the women of Europe. And, unfortunately, our women have imitated them in adorning themselves with this adornment, which has affected the Muslim society, namely makeup. It is not permissible for the woman, and this is truly one of the strange paradoxes. On the road, we see a woman wearing a hijab that is acceptable; I do not say it is the Shari’ah hijab. She is wearing what they call the scarf or the khimar, which is the Arabic term, covering her hair and her neck and so on, but she is powdered and wearing red lipstick. This is the opposite of that. These are two contradictory matters that cannot coexist. What is the reason? It is one of two things: either ignorance and heedlessness of the Shari’ah ruling, or it is from the women following the whispers of Satan. Therefore, we first mention the women who have been afflicted with this makeup, and secondly, we mention the awliya (guardians) of the women, whether a father, husband, or brother, as he (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Each of you is a shepherd and each of you is responsible for his flock. The imam who is over the people is a shepherd and is responsible for his flock; a man is a shepherd in charge of the inhabitants of his household and he is responsible for his flock
Mishkat al-Masabih 3685
to the end of the hadith. And so the Arabic or common proverb says: “The horse is from the rider.” So you, as the husband of the woman, it is not permissible for you to allow her to go out in this form that tempts the elderly, let alone the young. And you, the man, the father, the brother, are supposed to be jealous (possessive). Why? Because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say:
No *diwth* will enter Paradise.
Why? What is the diwth (one who lacks jealousy)? He is the one who does not show jealousy for his family.
No *diwth* will enter Paradise.
And he (peace be upon him) said, reporting about the women of the end of times, and with this hadith I conclude this speech, which I hope Allah (Mighty and Majestic) will make beneficial for its listeners. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Two categories of people from my Ummah whom I have not yet seen: men carrying in their hands whips like the tails of cattle, with which they strike people, and women clothed yet naked, swaying and causing others to sway, their heads like the humps of camels, tilted to one side. Cursed be they! They are cursed. They will not enter Paradise and they will not smell its scent, although its scent can be found from a distance of so much and so much.
This is the hadith. In another hadith, he (peace be upon him) said:
Whoever kills a person with whom a treaty is made, in his place of safety, will not smell the fragrance of Paradise, even though its fragrance can be found from a distance of one hundred miles.
The scent of Paradise is found from a distance of a hundred miles. So these women who display their adornment, who are clothed yet naked, the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said about them:
They will not enter Paradise and they would not smell its odour whereas its odour would be smelt from such and such distance.
Sahih Muslim 2128
in the second hadith. And this is sufficient, and praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds. So stand up for your prayer.
