What is the ruling on going to sorcerers, the Dajjals, and fortune-tellers?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : What is the ruling on going to sorcerers, the Dajjals, and fortune-tellers?

The Shaykh : Going to these people is forbidden, and it is not permissible to go to them, nor is there any good in them. And Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, said:
and the magician will not succeed wherever he is." وَلا يُفلِحُ السّاحِرُ حَيثُ أَتى
[Taha 20:69]
The fortune-tellers are liars, because they have agents among the jinn who eavesdrop on the hearing and inform them, then they lie along with what they are told of the news of the heavens. They lie many lies, a hundred lies or more or less, so they are liars. It is not permissible to go to them. And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
or who goes to a fortuneteller and believes what he says, he has disbelieved in that which was revealed to Muhammad. من أتى كاهنا فصدّقه بما يقول فقد كفر بما أنزل على محمد
Sunan Ibn Majah 639Hasan (Darussalam)
And that was disbelief because it is a denial of the saying of Allah the Exalted:
Say, "None in the heavens and earth knows the unseen except Allah قُل لا يَعلَمُ مَن فِي السَّماواتِ وَالأَرضِ الغَيبَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ
[An-Naml 27:65]
Yes.

The questioner : May Allah reward you and bless you.
