A woman with a heart condition was told by her doctor that she cannot tolerate pregnancy; is it permissible for her to use the IUD?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The doctor told me that I am forbidden from using any pregnancy medications, such as birth control pills.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : I cannot get an IUD inserted because I have had two pregnancies from above.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : And with the pills, I have no medication... .

The Shaykh : Okay

The questioner : ... The doctor told me that my heart muscle is thin and cannot tolerate that I get pregnant again.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : I want to, I need to block the tubes; what is your opinion?

The Shaykh: From a doctor who approves of it.

The questioner : Dr. Al-Kilani.

The Shaykh: Is he religious?

The questioner : I swear to Allah, I do not know; this is still the first time I have gone to him. He did not tell me to block my tubes.

The Shaykh : So.

The questioner : He said, "Your heart cannot tolerate that you get pregnant."

The Shaykh: Yes, we did not disagree, meaning you are saying you want to block your tubes.

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh: It is not permissible for you to judge yourself. This is a ruling that contradicts the Shari'ah and changes the creation of Allah (Mighty and Majestic). Perhaps Allah will grant you well-being and cure you of what ails you. In any case, when a doctor wants to make this ruling, he must possess both knowledge of medicine and knowledge of the Shari'ah. I advise you to consult Dr. 'Isam Al-Sakht, because he is one of the Muslim doctors and he does not proceed with anything except after consulting the scholars of knowledge. So I advise you to consult him, and he will tell you whether you need to block your tubes or not.
The Shaykh : If Allah wills.

The questioner : Peace be upon you.

The questioner : And upon you be peace, thank you.
The Shaykh : Welcome.
The questioner :The Shaykh

The Shaykh : Please go ahead.
