Does a son have the right to return a valid gift given to him by his father into the estate?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Al-Halabi : And there is a second issue, which is an important practical one. For example, if some fathers favor some of their sons with gifts and endowments over their other brothers, and then these fathers die, you see these sons saying, "There is no harm or sin upon us, for the sin is upon our father..." Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (may Allah have mercy on him) says in the *Fatawa* that it is obligatory for this son to return his father's injustice and to return the oppression he inflicted on his other brothers from this unjust father by restoring the right to its rightful place. How valid is this statement, O our Shaykh?

The Shaykh : This is the speech.
Al-Halabi: Oh, wonderful.

The Shaykh : There is no doubt!
Al-Halabi: Allahu Akbar.

The Shaykh : Because the son is expected to adopt means of mercy toward his father and forgiveness for his father...
Al-Halabi: Allahu Akbar.

The Shaykh : Rather, it is obligatory for the Muslim to be more merciful than that toward anyone other than his father, and a fortiori, he should be as merciful as possible toward his father. Therefore, it is not permissible for material desire to overcome him so that he says, "I did not receive what you received, so you must free your father from the injustice he committed during his lifetime." Perhaps in that lies his salvation after his death from his injustice. What you quoted from Ibn Taymiyyah is exactly correct, and praise be to Allah. And that is not strange from Shaykh al-Islam, for he is the jurist.
Al-Halabi : Our Shaykh, a third issue, and although the two issues are sufficient for the research, but also so that we grasp the subject from all its angles: many fathers also come to their daughters in the matter of gifts and say, "Are you in agreement? I want to give so-and-so this much. Are you in agreement?" She says, "Yes, Papa, I agree," and so the matter proceeds. Is this also considered from the same category of injustice and oppression?

The Shaykh : Yes, indeed. On the contrary, he should give to the one who is usually wronged what she deserves, rather than dragging her along until she agrees to the pre-Islamic division that is established to prevent daughters from their rights.
Al-Halabi : May Allah reward you with good.

The questioner : Our Shaykh, we say that the father was blessed with righteous children who returned the injustices to their rightful owners, so is he safe from Allah and forgiven?

The Shaykh : That is the hope and expectation.

Another questioner : My lord, can we take it from the perspective that the child is from the earnings of his father, so that, if Allah wills, the deed reaches him?

The Shaykh : Yes, exactly.
