The Shaykh : I say that if what the questioner said is true, this man is in violation of the command of Allah the Exalted and is disobedient to Him, for Allah says: It is not proper for a person to enter upon his wife and his family in anger, to speak with rebuke and harshness, and to beat the children and the wife, for this is the work of a person with a weak mind and weak faith.
The obligatory thing for this man, if he wants to live a happy life, is that he should be open-hearted when he enters his home, treating his family and children with the best treatment. It is established from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: This is authentic from him. Yes, my brother, what is authentic from the Messenger in this matter?
