The Shaykh : And He (Mighty and Majestic) described it as a reminder and a healing for what is in the breasts, and as guidance and mercy for the believers. For this reason, we should take care of this Qur'an by memorizing it, learning it, and acting upon it, just as the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) did not move on from ten verses of the Book of Allah until they had learned them and the knowledge and action contained in them. They did not move on from ten verses until they had learned them and the knowledge and action contained in them. To learn them means to master their wording, the knowledge within them, the great meanings, and the action, which is application. This is because this Qur'an was revealed to be reflected upon, understood, and to be remembered for what it contains. [Sad 38:29] To reflect upon them means to contemplate them, think about them, and remember the action contained in them. This great Qur'an was distinguished by this noble month, in which it was revealed.
