The Shaykh : Then he raises his head saying:
Allah hears whoever praises him سمع الله لمن حمده
Muwatta Malik 3:17
, and after standing up he says:
Our Lord, to You belongs all praise, filling the heavens and the earth and filling whatever You will of things thereafter. O People of praise and glory, You are worthy of what the servant says, and all of us are Your servants. There is no one who can prevent what You give, and there is no one who can give what You withhold, and the nearness of the one who is close to You does not benefit him from You.
Sahih Ibn Hibban 10:192

He says, "Our Lord, to You belongs all praise," and if he wishes he says:
Our Lord, to You is the praise ربنا لك الحمد
, and if he wishes he says:

Sahih Muslim 476b
, and if he wishes he says:
Allahumma Rabbana wa lakal-hamd (O Allah, our Lord and to You be the praise) اللهم ربنا ولك الحمد
Sunan an-Nasa'i 1060Sahih (Darussalam)
. These are four forms that the brother says.
The student: Our Lord, to You belongs all praise.

The Shaykh : This is one.
The student: Our Lord, to You belongs all praise.

The Shaykh : Two.
The student: O Allah, our Lord, to You belongs all praise.

The Shaykh : Three. Please, take a rest.
Student: O Allah, our Lord, to You belongs all praise.

The Shaykh : Fine, so are these four forms said all at once, or is each one said once? Each one is said once at different times. Fine.
