There are many questions about this issue, and the answer is that a woman prays over the funeral if the funeral is brought to her while she is in the mosque; she prays just as the men pray over it, and she receives reward. However, following the funeral from the house is prohibited, either by a prohibition of forbiddance (haram) or a prohibition of disapproval (makruh).
