That among the blessings of Allah upon the Kingdom is that it was not affected by the calamity that struck the Gulf.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Indeed, praise be to Allah, in this land this crisis and great disaster passed through us, but our land was not affected, praise be to Allah, in the way that such a disaster would require. The food supplies in the markets remained. All necessities, and even luxuries, remained available, praise be to Allah, even those things that war would necessitate being missing remained present. This is a blessing that obligates us to thank Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) for it and to acknowledge His favor and grace. The countries other than this country were greatly affected, both economically and in terms of morale and personal value. As for this country, praise be to Allah, it remained in the best state regarding its economy. This increases our trust in Allah (Mighty and Majestic) and our good opinion of Him, and that Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) is the One who removes evil and answers the supplication of the distressed when they call upon Him.
We had previously, in the last lesson, in the first part of this night, explained the consequences that resulted from this disaster, and we listed many things from them, and perhaps you are still remembering some of them.
