The abundance of reciting the Qur'an in it.

The Shaykh : This month should be utilized for the various forms of obedience to Allah, especially the recitation of the Qur'an, for it has a special merit in this month. For this reason, the righteous predecessors among the scholars, jurists, and hadith scholars, when the month of Ramadan would enter, would hold back and turn to the Qur'an, the Great Qur'an. They would recite it with its due recitation, reciting it with their tongues and reflecting on its meaning, and implementing it in their actions. We ask Allah the Exalted to include us and you among the righteous.
