Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: "But they do not deny you, but the wrongdoers deny the signs of Allah"

The Shaykh : But Allah said: [Al-An'am 6:33] meaning they do not believe that you are a liar; they know your truthfulness, your trustworthiness, and your reliability, to the extent that they used to call him before the mission, what? They called him al-Amin (the Trustworthy). But when he was sent with the truth, he became the liar and the sorcerer, may Allah protect us from that.
And this is like the saying of Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, regarding the family of Pharaoh: meaning they denied it, [An-Naml 27:14] and Moses said to Pharaoh while debating with him, Moses said to him: [Al-Isra 17:102] Did Pharaoh deny it or acknowledge it? Moses said: [Al-Isra 17:102] meaning the truth he brought, [Al-Isra 17:102] did he acknowledge it or deny it? Well, did he deny it or not? He did not deny it. Moses says to him: [Al-Isra 17:102] and he did not deny it. If he had not known, he would have said, "I do not know," especially since Moses said to him: [Al-Isra 17:102] So Pharaoh knew that Moses was on the truth, and the family of Pharaoh knew that he was on the truth, but they denied it. Quraysh knew that the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) was on the truth, but they denied it. [Al-An'am 6:33] And this is a consolation for the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) that he is truthful, but these people are obstinate.
And indeed, they do not call you untruthful, but it is the verses of Allah that the wrongdoers reject.
