The Shaykh : Yes, it is the right of a Muslim over his brother that he fulfill his oath, as established in the authentic hadith from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). That is, if your brother swears an oath over you, you should do what he swore you would do, unless it involves harm. For example, if he says, "By Allah, you will tell me what you did yesterday," then I am not obligated to say it; I am not obligated to fulfill his oath, and it is not permissible for him to force me in this way. But if he swore over something in which I have an interest, then it is his right over me that I fulfill his oath. If I do not do so, the expiation is upon him, because he is the one who swore. As for me, there is no expiation upon me.
And I repeat: say "if Allah wills" when you swear an oath, because if you say "if Allah wills," you are safe from the expotion whether you do it or not. Yes.
