Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : As for those who
those who abuse Allah and His Messenger - Allah has cursed them in this world and the Hereafter and prepared for them a humiliating punishment. يؤذون الله ورسوله لعنهم الله في الدنيا والآخرة وأعدّ لهم عذاباً مهيناً
[Al-Ahzab 33:57]
, when is the punishment that humiliates them? On the Day of Resurrection. So the curse is in this world and the Hereafter, and the humiliating punishment is in the Fire of Hell, and it may also be in this world, where they are punished by the hands of the believers. Allah the Exalted said:
(14) Fight them; Allah will punish them by your hands and will disgrace them and give you victory over them and satisfy the breasts of a believing people (15) And remove the fury in the believers' hearts. And Allah turns in forgiveness to whom He wills; and Allah is Knowing and Wise. قاتلوهم يعذّبهم الله بأيديكم ويخزهم وينصركم عليهم ويشفي صدور قوم مؤمنين ويذهب غيظ قلوبهم ويتوب الله على من يشاء والله عليم حكيم
[At-Tawbah 9:14-15]
So cursing Allah and describing Allah the Exalted with what is not fitting for Him, whether in terms of the Shari'ah or? Answer, O students! Or in terms of the divine decree. Describing Allah with what is not fitting for Him, whether in terms of the Shari'ah or the divine decree, is from harming Allah (Mighty and Majestic). And harming the Messenger is likewise attributing to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) or to his family what is not fitting for them, whether in terms of the Shari'ah or the divine decree. For Allah did not choose for His Messenger anything but the best of creation, who support Allah and His Messenger.
