Is the Torah from the revelation of Allah and His speech?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The Torah

The Shaykh : Yes

The questioner : ...

The Shaykh : It is well known among the Salaf that it is the speech of Allah. Yes, and the author’s statement here also indicates this.
"And so is your denial of His speech by revelation, *** Like the Torah and the Qur'an"
This is what is known among the Salaf. However, what is in the Qur'an is that Allah wrote it and sent it down. But it is well known among the Salaf that it is the speech of Allah, just as they used to test people in the time of al-Ma'mun by saying, "The Qur'an, the Torah, the Gospel, and the Psalms." Yes, those who interpret [the texts] say, "This is the true interpretation," meaning that it is created.

The Shaykh : Yes

The Shaykh : I have not seen any of them except that they say so, that it is the speech of Allah. But there is nothing explicit stating that it is the speech of Allah. As for the saying of the Exalted:
Do you covet [the hope, O believers], that they would believe for you while a party of them used to hear the words of Allah and then distort the Torah after they had understood it أفتطمعون أن يؤمنوا لكم وقد كان فريق منهم يسمعون كلام الله ثم يحرفونه من بعد ما عقلوه
[Al-Baqarah 2:75]
This may mean that they were hearing the Torah, or that they heard the speech of Allah when He spoke to Moses and said, "We will not believe in you until we see Allah openly," or that they hear the speech of Allah, meaning in the Qur'an, and they distort it.
