He is al-Rafiq (the Gentle One), who loves the people of gentleness, and indeed*** He grants them through gentleness beyond what is granted through fear (Discussion of the name al-Rafiq, its attribute of gentleness, and an explanation of its meaning)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Yes, this is also one of the names of Allah: al-Rafiq (the Gentle One), who loves the people of gentleness, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Allah is Gentle and loves gentleness إن الله رفيق يحب الرفق
Sunan Ibn Majah 3689Sahih (Darussalam)
Gentleness is being deliberate in matters and dealing with them with softness and tenderness, and the like of that. The opposite of gentleness is violence, harshness, and rigidity. People, or some people, assume that gentleness causes the objective to be missed and that it is a sign of a lack of zeal, but this assumption is false. In fact, gentleness indicates wisdom, deliberation, and not being hasty. As our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Indeed, Allah grants through gentleness what He does not grant through violence إن الله يعطي بالرفق ما لا يعطي على العنف
