And truthfulness is the oneness of will, which is exerting effort without laziness or hesitation (Defining truthfulness and its reality)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"And truthfulness is the oneness of will, which is exerting effort..."
This truthfulness is exerting effort to reach what is intended; this is truthfulness. Therefore, even among people, if it is said that so-and-so wants such and such, but he is lazy and has never done it—if he were truthful, he would have done it; if he were truthful, he would have done it. It is said: "So-and-so, by Allah, loves to visit you often, but he only sees you once." What does one say? One says: If he were truthful that he loves the visit, yes, he would have visited me. So, truthfulness is exerting effort to reach the intended goal. Sincerity is the oneness of the intended goal, as mentioned before. Now, it is said: "And truthfulness is the oneness of will, which is exerting effort without laziness or hesitation"
