(Explanation of a sect that claims to love Allah but loves others more intensely than Allah, and an explanation of their characteristics) And we have seen among a group that claims ***Islam, a clear shirk (associating partners with Allah)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"And we have seen among a group that claims ***Islam, a clear shirk (associating partners with Allah) in explanation"
This is a shirk (associating partners with Allah) that is the object of our seeing, from a group who claim that they are Muslims while they are mushrikin (those who associate partners with Allah) with a clear shirk. However, their shirk is not in worship, but in following, as (may Allah have mercy on him) will clarify.
"They have made partners for Him and they have equated them with Him in love, not in authority"
They love them as they love Allah, but they have not given them authority like the authority of Allah. If you asked them, "Who is the Lord of the heavens and the earth?" they would say, "Allah." But you will find their hearts filled with the love of their awliya (close friends of Allah) and those they follow, equal to the love of Allah or even greater. It will become clear later that they love those they follow more than they love Allah...
