If a dream is repeated constantly, does that mean it will come true?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : If a dream is repeated constantly, does that mean it will come true?

The Shaykh : No, it does not mean that it will come true. If a person sees many dreams about a specific thing and they are repeated, that does not mean it will come true. However, I advise the questioner and anyone who listens to this answer not to pay attention to terrifying or disliked dreams. Rather, if someone sees something he dislikes in his sleep, let him do what the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded, and it will not harm him after that. He should spit to his left three times and say: "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of Shaytan and from the evil of what I saw", and he should turn to his other side. He should not tell anyone about it. If he does this, then this disliked vision that frightened him will not harm him. This is how it was reported from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). By this, a person finds relief from the many visions that Shaytan presents to him in his sleep to sadden him and disturb his peace, for Shaytan is an enemy to man, so he loves to sadden him and disturb his peace. Have you not seen His saying, the Exalted:
Private conversation is only from Satan that he may grieve those who have believed, but he will not harm them at all except by permission of Allah
[Al-Mujadila 58:10]
Yes.

The questioner : May Allah bless you. This listener, Abu Ali, says:
