But the honor and reverence are a right of the Messenger by virtue of the Qur'an (Clarification of the rights of the Messenger of Allah and the meaning of His saying, the Exalted: {That you may believe in Allah and His Messenger, and honor him and revere him, and glorify Him morning and evening})

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"But the honor and reverence are a right of the Messenger by virtue of the Qur'an"
Allah the Exalted said:
(8) Indeed, We have sent you as a witness and a bringer of good tidings and a warner (9) That you [people] may believe in Allah and His Messenger and honor him and respect the Prophet and exalt Allah morning and afternoon. إنا أرسلناك شاهدا ومبشرا ونذيرا لتؤمنوا بالله ورسوله وتعزروه وتوقروه وتسبحوه بكرة وأصيلا
[Al-Fath 48:8-9]
That you [people] may believe in Allah and His Messenger and honor him لتؤمنوا بالله ورسوله وتعزروه
[Al-Fath 48:9]
The pronoun "him" refers to the Messenger
and revere him وتوقروه
to the Messenger
and glorify Him وتسبحوه
to Allah (Mighty and Majestic), because the first two rights are among the rights of the Messenger, and the third is a right of Allah (Mighty and Majestic).
He said:
"But the honor and reverence are a right of the Messenger by virtue of the Qur'an".
