(Explanation of the statement of some of the Shaykhs of the Mu'attilah that the creation of the heavens and the earth preceded the Throne, and the reason for his saying so) O my people, take heed of the ignorance of your Shaykhs*** regarding the realities

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : He said:
"Or have you not heard the statement of the best of your time*** among you, the statement of an ignorant, misguiding fool?"
Here, before it, yes
"O my people, take heed of the ignorance of your Shaykhs*** regarding the realities of faith and the Qur'an"
"O my people" — to whom is he addressing? The Mu'attilah. And there is no harm in a person addressing a group, because the term "people" (al-qawm) is general and includes both the believer and the disbeliever.
"O my people, take heed of the ignorance of your Shaykhs*** regarding the realities of faith and the Qur'an
Or have you not heard the statement of the best of your time*** among you, the statement of an ignorant, misguiding fool"

What is this statement?
"Indeed, the highest heavens and the earth, before*** the Throne, by consensus, are created"
He says that the heavens and the earth are created before the Throne; they are created before the Throne by consensus. And what do you say about this speech? This is the statement of an ignorant person, or rather, a scholar who is more ignorant than his donkey; more ignorant than his donkey. The heavens and the earth are created before the Throne. Why did he say this? Because it was said to him: If you say that "istawa" (He rose) means "malka" (He ruled) and "istawla" (He seized control), then it necessitates that the Throne existed before the creation of the heavens and the earth. Owned by whom? Look at the verse:
He created the heavens and the earth, then He rose above the Throne خلق السموات والأرض ثم استوى على العرش
If you say "istawa" means "istawla" (seized control), then it necessitates that the Throne existed before the creation of the heavens. For whom? For other than Allah. He said: Then, since this is the necessary consequence, I say that the Throne was created after the creation of the heavens and the earth. So, according to his view, the heavens and the earth were created, and then the Throne was created, and then He seized control of it. Do you understand? And yet, he says "by consensus," and he is the best of the people of his time in his era. Yes.
"Or have you not heard the statement of the best of your time*** among you, the statement of an ignorant, misguiding fool
Indeed, the highest heavens and the earth, before*** the Throne, by consensus, are created"
