Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Regarding workers who left their homelands and emigrated to earn a living for their families, is there a sin upon them for leaving their wives for a few years, such as one, two, three, or five years? And what is the duration for which a Muslim is held accountable for his absence from his wife?

The Shaykh : This returns to the wife, because the right belongs to her. So if she is satisfied with this.

The questioner : Yes.
