Discussion regarding the women who memorize the Qur'an in the associations, and who have been accused of certain things regarding their creed?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Regarding the young women who teach the Qur'an, on one occasion I heard a tape of an interview with your eminence, and some of the questions, I think, were a fabrication fromThe questioner ..

The Shaykh : Do you think so?

The questioner : A fabrication fromThe questioner : He said that these women are among those who do not get married, and that they are married to Allah, and that they, and that they. We know a large number of the women who run Qur'an memorization centers, especially in Bahrain, and among them are some of our relatives, andThe Shaykh : Abu Anas knows, and some matters about the people, and this is a description with many attributes and without confirmation. The question, as directed to your eminence, is what is the ruling on one who teaches the Qur'an? He cited Bayadir al-Salam in Kuwait, and they cited the Sufis, and they began to ask, meaning that they do not get married, and all of them are married, except for one or two in Bahrain, because they did not find anyone to say, if we find [a husband], we will get married, that is fine.
Abu Layla : I remember in the tape where the brother is speaking, in any case, there is no problem for the questioner. It is, our Shaykh, specifically about Fadi'ah al-Taba'ah, and the original of that is Bayadir al-Salam, which was originally established in Kuwait, and the one in charge of it is Amir Jabril, and he isThe Shaykh : Ahmad Kiftarou, the companions of the Naqshbandi order. And now we have offspring here, present in Oman, who are Fadi'ah Taba'ah and those who follow her in her clothing and so on and so on. We know, our Shaykh, that they memorize the Qur'an, many of them, but in the beginning of the brother's speech, there are, meaning, two types of people, there are women...

The questioner : I know those who know them, fasting, standing [in prayer], we know within their homes that among them are some of our relatives, we do not find any blemish in their dealings, and we find people who fight them, despite the fact that in Bahrain they now have more than three hundred and fifty students who memorize the Qur'an, some of whom memorized the Qur'an in imaginary periods, and the sameThe student : You say, we do not see anything against them, what is the method, either defending them or fighting them?

The Shaykh : May Allah reward you. Your speech is general, and it is not permissible to apply it to all the young women who learn the Qur'an or teach the Qur'an. This generalization is not permissible, exactly as is the reality in some societies that are further from cleanliness and purity than the society of the Qur'an memorizers. What is the name of the houses?

The questioner : Qur'an memorization.

The Shaykh : Qur'an memorization, like universities, for example, these, so it is not permissible to make the general statement that all the young women who study in such universities are to be blamed because they contradict the Shari'ah. They may have been afflicted with such a study, which we do not support, but they may be modest, wearing the jilbab, and covered, but there are others who are tabarruj (displaying their adornment). Therefore, it is not correct to make the general statement about such universities, let alone houses of Qur'an teaching. For this reason, we say that in your speech there is something of generalization that is not permissible to be said in a single statement, but this statement must be detailed. After our brother Abu Ahmad mentioned a group of such young women, I want to draw your attention to the fact that the ruling, my brother, that this type of young women are upright or not upright, it is not correct for it to come from a person who is not a specialized scholar in the knowledge of the Book and the Sunnah, is it not so? Now you know a type of these young women who are called by us in Damascus al-Qubasiyyat, and here al-Taba'iyat. Do you know something about them, or have you seen examples of them?

The questioner : No.

The Shaykh : You do not know. Well, we know there in Damascus, and we know here that the slogan of these young women who claim affiliation to this woman or that is that their jilbab goes to the middle of the calves.

The questioner : And if it is not so, for example, in Bahrain.

The Shaykh : My brother, may Allah reward you, we are saying that the error is in the generalization of speech. I would have liked to say to you, what do I want to say? I, one of my daughters teaches the girls in one of these houses there in Jeddah. This may suffice for any detailed statement, but it is necessary, may Allah reward you, to detail. We know, if you have not seen, we know that the Qubasiyyat in our Damascus and their like here, their slogan is two things: their clothing, what is the color? This is important, dark blue, yes, this is in terms of color, and in terms of length, contrary to the Noble Qur'an, to the middle of the calves. This is a slogan they adopted. Is this, first, knowledge of the Shari'ah? The answer is no. Is it an application of the Shari'ah? The answer is no. We see many women who may not be students of knowledge, from the uneducated, meaning, but nevertheless their clothing is Shari'ah-compliant, as is in the Noble Qur'an
they draw their cloaks over their bodies يدنين عليهم من جلابيبهن
So this type of young women, if they were teaching the Qur'an, if they were memorizing the Qur'an, the important thing is not the memorization, but the important thing is acting upon it. For this reason, it came in some Salafi reports that we used to learn to act upon the Qur'an before we learned to recite the Qur'an, or something similar to this speech, because this knowledge is a means, and the goal is acting upon this knowledge. Now, Qur'an memorization associations, whether for young men or young women, this is a good work, but better than it is acting upon what they recite and study of the Noble Qur'an. If such a type was spoken about, then this speech is in its place. But if there is another type, whose hijab is a Shari'ah hijab, and they are covered, and they do not mix with men, no one can speak about them at all. And in brief, I say, one of my daughters, I, she learned and is now teaching the Noble Qur'an, but in her hijab, as Allah Mighty and Majestic commanded, and more than what was commanded, because we believe that what Allah commanded the women to do is to wear the jilbab and to cover their entire body except the face and hands, He did not command that, but this covering is better. So I say this girl whom I am referring to has applied the divine command and more, and nevertheless she teaches the girls to memorize the Qur'an, so there is nothing wrong with this, may Allah reward you. The important thing is adhering to the Shari'ah rulings during the teaching of the Noble Qur'an.

The questioner : These people fight them, and they are of the second type that you said are on the right path. How do we stand towards these who fight those who are on the right path, who wore the proper clothing? They are not of those who wear short [clothes], they are not of the Taba'ah group.

The Shaykh : Why do they fight them?

The questioner : Until the war reached the point that they are exposing their faces, despite the fact that a letter reached us from you that covering the face is not definitive, because they do not wear the niqab, and they were accused of being Sufis, and they are not so. Is there a word we can say to the people, these? I hope for this word so that we can convey it to the people.
Abu Malik: The truth is, may Allah reward you, our Shaykh, that I am speaking in his presence, and this is always what I say, it is not proper, wallahi, but as an honor from our Shaykh or an honor from him, meaning, that he gives us a share of speech. So I say, the truth is, first, clarify the first point, that the difference mentioned by our Shaykh in this specific issue is clarified, and that he distinguishes between this group and this group of these young women. As for the second matter, I say, if this second matter depends on the niqab being lowered over the face, I say, the truth is, there is no objection to these sisters lowering the niqab over their faces and counting this as for Allah Mighty and Majestic. The third matter, if that is clarified, I see no harm in men mixing, meaning, the men of these women, whether they are husbands, or brothers, or fathers, mixing with the critics and clarifying a sufficient explanation of the matter, and that it is not as they think. And likewise, the women do with the women. And this is undoubtedly one of the ways of cooperation on good and clarifying the problem. The fourth matter is that a treatise is written on this topic, a scholarly treatise, written by, for example, our brother Abu Anas, or one of the brothers, clarifying these issues with a scholarly explanation, and this treatise is published among the people. And I believe that the issue?

The Shaykh : Sufficient, may Allah reward you.

The questioner : They said, "Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs"...
Abu Layla : Our Shaykh, the first thing our brother mentioned, he mentioned the reason, that there is a tape of your speech, in which one asks that these people get married... This is not the speech.

The questioner : They do not get married.
Abu Layla : Yes, they get married, because they...

The Shaykh : This is intended for a type of women, a specific type.
Abu Layla : What is the reason, I mean, that these women mentioned among the characteristics or the fields of peace are mentioned precisely and specifically? Does this tape and its application to these sisters have any relation to that?
Abu Malik: In any case, I see that the four issues we mentioned are sufficient, provided they are included in a letter, if Allah wills.

The Shaykh : May Allah grant you health.
Abu Malik: We hope to see you again. We hope the meeting will be repeated, whether in Amman, Sana'a, or Aden. Are you from the people of Aden or the people of Sana'a?

The questioner : We would like to visit...
Abu Malik: Our Shaykh, if you move to Amman, we will not be able to manage it, my dear brother, because ministers will come. The Shaykh : A large number of them. What will you do in this situation? May Allah bless you. This is for our Shaykh. Once again, we say: may Allah reward you with good and may He do you good. And praise be to Allah who made us brothers loving one another without any kinship or prior acquaintance. This is a great blessing, and it is among the greatest of blessings. I hope, on behalf of our Shaykh, that you convey our greetings to our brother and beloved,The Shaykh : Muqbil ibn Hadi, from whom we learned what we learned of his knowledge and his piety, and the knowledge he spread among the people, and praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds.

The Shaykh : May Allah grant you health, and in the safety of Allah.
