The questioner : May Allah reward you with good. The questioner says: My older brother is married and lives with his wife in our house, and I am forced to enter the house, and his wife does not observe hijab in front of me. Is that permissible for me?

The Shaykh : It is not permissible for a man to enter his brother's house when only his brother's wife is in it, because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) warned against that. He said:
Avoid going in where women are.” A man said, “Messenger of God, tell me about the relatives of a woman’s husband,” to which he replied, “The relatives of a woman’s husband are death.” إياكم والدخول على النساء قالوا يا رسول الله أرأيت الحمو قال الحمو الموت
