The Virtue of Two Phrases: Subhan Allah wa bihamdihi, Subhan Allah al-Azim

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : And we conclude this meeting with this supplication: Subhan Allah wa bihamdihi, Subhan Allah al-Azim. Indeed, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding these two phrases:
Two words which are light on the tongue and heavy in the Balance, and beloved to the Most Merciful: Subhan-Allah wa bi hamdihi, Subhan-Allahil-'Azim (Glory and praise is to Allah, glory is to Allah the Almighty).كلمتان خفيفتان على اللسان، ثقيلتان في الميزان، حبيبتان إلى الرحمن : سبحان الله وبحمده، سبحان الله العظيم
Sunan Ibn Majah 3806Sahih (Darussalam)
It is fitting for a person to say these two phrases constantly, as long as they do not distract him from an obligatory duty. Therefore, I urge myself and you to increase in saying these two phrases: Subhan Allah wa bihamdihi, Subhan Allah al-Azim. On the tongue, what are they? They are very light. On the scale, they are heavy, and they are beloved to the Most Merciful.
