What is the ruling on a woman dyeing her hair black?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah reward you with good. This is a young woman who has not yet shown any gray hair, and she wants to dye her hair black. She had previously dyed it red, so she wants to return it to its original state, and the previous dye will not come off except after a long period. Is it permissible for her to dye it black, and what is the evidence for this?

The Shaykh : We say that it is permissible for her to dye it with a color that is not pure black, but rather mixed with red. This is because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding gray hair:
Change it, but keep it away from black. غيروه وجنبوه السواد
. Also, a severe warning was reported regarding changing gray hair to black. So we say there is no harm in dyeing it with something intermediate between black and red until this whiteness on her head is removed. Yes.
