The third category:

But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray,

وَأَمَّا إِنْ كَانَ مِنَ الْمُكَذِّبِينَ الضَّالِّينَ

[al-Waqi'ah: 92] Deniers of the news, astray in their deeds, so there is no belief and no commitment, like the disbelievers,Every disbeliever falls under this verse, even the hypocrite:

Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water

فَنُزُلٌ مِنْ حَمِيمٍ

[al-Waqi'ah:93] meaning: so for them is poured down scalding water, and (al-nazl) means the hospitality that is offered to a guest first upon his arrival. These people—may Allah protect us from them—this is their portion: this hospitality (of scalding water). Al-hamim: it is intensely hot:

And a burning in the blazing Fire

وَتَصْلِيَةُ جَحِيمٍ

[al-Waqi'ah:94] meaning: they enter the blazing Fire and remain in it forever, and (al-jahim) is one of the names of the Fire. May Allah protect us and you from it.
