Exhortation to Reflect on the Qur'an and Attend to It

The Shaykh : And I exhort our brothers, especially the young students of knowledge, to reflect on the words of Allah (Mighty and Majestic), understand their meanings, and attend to it. They should know that the Qur'an was revealed so that they might reflect on its verses, and what else? I ask Allah the Exalted to make me and you among those who recite it with true recitation, and among those who are guided by it to Allah (Mighty and Majestic) and to His Paradise. May He make it an argument for us, not an argument against us. Indeed, He is capable of all things. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds. And may Allah send blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his Companions. Now, let us proceed to the questions until the call to the 'Isha' prayer is made.
