The Meaning of the Saying of Allah the Exalted: "When it falls"

The Shaykh : And what is the meaning of His saying: It was said that it means when it sets, and it was said that the intended meaning is the shooting stars sent upon the devils who eavesdrop on the hearing. And if the wording is suitable for both meanings, then it is attributed to both, because we have mentioned this rule several times in our gatherings, and we said that if a text from the Qur'an or the Sunnah is capable of two meanings that do not contradict each other, then it is attributed to both meanings. We explained this with two explanations: the first is that it is more comprehensive and inclusive, and the second is that it is more exonerating for the conscience and more cautious. However, if one of them contradicts the other, then we look at which one is stronger and we adopt the stronger position.
