An elderly man who is unable to prostrate on his knees due to a chronic illness: is there any blame on him for this?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : He says that he is an elderly man who is unable to prostrate on his knees due to a chronic illness, and asks if there is any blame on him for this.

The Shaykh : If he is unable to prostrate on his knees, he should sit in a squatting position when prostrating and indicate the prostration by moving his head, bringing it close to the ground, and this is sufficient.
If he is able to place his forehead and hands on the ground, that is what is obligatory for him, because it is closer to the form of prostration than indicating it.

The questioner : May Allah reward you, O honorable Shaykh, and may Allah bless you.
