Raising the head from prostration and sitting between the two prostrations.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Then he raises himself from prostration and sits with his left foot spread out, his right foot upright, and his hands placed on his knees or on the ends of his thighs. He grasps the little finger, ring finger, middle finger, and thumb of his right hand like this, or he forms a circle with the thumb and middle finger. As for the index finger, it remains open, not closed. When he supplicates... indicating the exaltation of the One being supplicated to, who is Allah (Mighty and Majestic), he says, for example, "My Lord, forgive me," and raises his finger, and "and have mercy on me," likewise, and "and heal me." For every supplicatory phrase, he raises his finger indicating what? Indicating the exaltation of the One being supplicated to, who is Allah (Mighty and Majestic). Then he prostrates the second prostration just as the first, and he does this in all of his prayer.
