A man performed 'Umrah, then performed 'Umrah on behalf of his father and mother; what is the ruling?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : This man is asking, saying: He performed 'Umrah for himself, then performed 'Umrah for his father.

The questioner : For his mother.

The Shaykh : For his mother, then for his father. There is no doubt that this is an exercise of independent legal reasoning (ijtihad), and a person is rewarded according to the extent of his effort, even if it is not from the Sunnah, he is still rewarded. Perhaps you remember the hadith of Abu Hurayrah about the two men whom the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) sent on an errand. They performed dry ablution (tayammum) because there was no water, and then they found water. One of them performed the ablution and repeated the prayer, and the other did not perform the ablution and did not repeat the prayer. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to the one who repeated the prayer:
You have two rewards لك الأجر مرتين
. And he said to the second one:
You hit the Sunnah أصبت السنة
He said to the second one: You hit the mark of the Sunnah.
So, if Allah wills, the reward was obtained for your mother and your father. I say, if Allah wills, the reward was obtained for them.

The questioner : May Allah have mercy on your parents.

The Shaykh : But, if Allah wills, do not repeat it for her.

The questioner : If Allah wills.

The Shaykh : If Allah wills, why? Because 'Umrah is not repeated in one journey. Never two 'Umrahs in one journey.

The questioner : I am asking you, did it, if Allah wills, become permissible?

The Shaykh : If Allah wills, if Allah wills, we ask Allah for acceptance.

The questioner : ... .

The Shaykh : If Allah wills, do not repeat it.

The questioner : I did not ask you except to take from your excellence.

The Shaykh : May Allah reward you with good.

The questioner : Nothing happened. May Allah reward you with good.

The Shaykh : May Allah help you.

The questioner : May my Lord increase in number those like you.

The Shaykh : Yes, may Allah bless you.
