Is the fast of one who extracts a tooth during the day of Ramadan valid?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : I extracted a tooth while I was fasting, and blood came out. Is my fast valid or not?

The Shaykh : Yes, if a person extracts his tooth or a tooth and blood comes out, his fast is valid. However, he must not swallow the blood, because blood is not of the same nature as saliva; it is foreign to the mouth. If he swallows it intentionally and deliberately, knowing that it breaks his fast, his fast is invalid. But if he swallows it without intention, or if he does not know that it breaks his fast, his fast is valid. Yes.

The Shaykh : Seven and a half.

The Shaykh : ... May Allah bless you.
The student: ... .

The Shaykh : 'Abdullah stayed up last night. 'Abdullah, the one standing here, stayed up all last night. We will listen to him.
