Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :
Indeed, those who abuse Allah and His Messenger - Allah has cursed them in this world and the Hereafter and prepared for them a humiliating punishment. إن الذين يؤذون الله ورسوله لعنهم الله في الدنيا والآخرة وأعد لهم عذابا مهيناً
[Al-Ahzab 33:57]
I seek refuge in Allah
Indeed, those who abuse Allah and His Messenger - Allah has cursed them in this world and the Hereafter إن الذين يؤذون الله ورسوله لعنهم الله في الدنيا والآخرة
[Al-Ahzab 33:57]
Harming Allah (Mighty and Majestic) is for the objector to object to the decree of Allah or to the legislation of Allah, for this is a harm that harms Allah (Mighty and Majestic). Listen to the Qudsi hadith; Allah the Exalted said:
The son of Adam injures me by abusing time, whereas I am time. Authority is in my hand. I alternate the night and the day يؤذيني ابنُ آدم يسُب الدهر وأنا الدهر بيدي الأمر أقلب الليل والنهار
Sunan Abi Dawud 5274Sahih (Al-Albani)
He said, "My son Adam harms Me." He explained the harm as being that he curses time, meaning that the son of Adam curses time, saying, "This year is a year of evil, a year of tribulation." He does not intend to report the news, but he intends to disparage the year, or "This month is a month of hunger, a month of fear," and the like. He does not want the news; if he wanted the news, there would be nothing wrong with it, but he wants to disparage. This harms Allah (Mighty and Majestic), because does time dispose of itself? No, there is no god but Allah. Does time dispose of itself? No. The One who disposes of time is Allah (Mighty and Majestic). For this reason, He said:
I am time. Authority is in my hand. أنا الدهر بيدي الأمر
Sunan Abi Dawud 5274Sahih (Al-Albani)
