A woman performed Hajj without a mahram; is it permissible for her to perform Hajj again to avoid sin?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah reward you. If a woman performed Hajj without a mahram, does that mean she should perform Hajj again so that her previous Hajj is considered void?

The Shaykh : If a woman performs Hajj without a mahram, she is a sinner against Allah and His Messenger, because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
No woman should travel except with a mahram. So a man stood up and said: O Messenger of Allah, لا تسافر امرأة إلا مع ذي محرم فقام رجل فقال : يا رسول الله
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 9:2565
Because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
A woman also may not travel with anyone except with a Mahram (relative).” A man stood up and asked, ‘O Messenger of Allah! My wife has gone for Hajj while I am enlisted for such and such a battle, what should I do?’ The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) replied, “Go and join your wife in Hajj. لا تسافر امرأة إلا مع ذي محرم فقام رجل فقال : يا رسول الله إن امرأتي خرجت حاجة وإني اكتتبت في غزوة كذا وكذا قال : انطلق فحج مع امرأتك
Bulugh al-Maram 718
However, the Hajj is valid; I mean, she is not required to repeat it. Rather, she must repent to Allah and seek forgiveness for what occurred from her thereafter.

The questioner : Peace be upon you.

The Shaykh : Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah.
