The ruling on a woman performing Hajj with women without a mahram

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
This is a message received by the program from the listener, the needful: Abbasia bint Muhammad Abd al-Rahman from Iraq -Mosul- who says in it: I came for Hajj in the company of a number of women and I have no mahram, and I have passed the age of fifty years. So, is my Hajj considered valid? Please inform us, may Allah reward you.
Answer: It is not permissible for a Muslim woman to perform Hajj without a mahram. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
A woman should not travel except with a mahramلا تسافر امرأة إلا مع ذي محرم
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 9:2565
Some scholars have held that it is permissible to perform Hajj with trustworthy women without a mahram, but that is the weaker position. The correct view is what the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
A woman should not travel except with a mahramلا تسافر امرأة إلا مع ذي محرم
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 9:2565
However, if she performed Hajj with women, her Hajj is valid, and she must repent to Allah; because she made a mistake and committed a sin, so she must repent to Allah, feel remorse, and not return to such a thing. Her Hajj is valid, if Allah wills; because she... performed the rites of Hajj, so it is valid despite the sin in her contradicting the Sunnah in her Hajj without a mahram. And Allah is the One who grants success, and to Him (Glorified and Exalted is He) belongs the perfect wisdom. And she must repent from that. Yes.
