Is it permissible for the khatib to habitually remind people not to talk during the khutbah?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : In some mosques, O Shaykh, there are many foreigners who talk during the Friday khutbah. Many of the foreigners talk.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : Does the khatib have the right to habitually remind them, since they are different?

The Shaykh : Yes.
If many people talk during the Friday khutbah, the khatib himself speaks and says: “It has been reported to us that people are talking, and this is forbidden for them,” and he brings the hadith indicating this.
But the problem is that speech may come from people who do not understand the Arabic language, and the problem arises. In that case, there is no harm if those around them point to them to silence them, not with words, because silencing them with words is forbidden, due to the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
If you say to your companions: ‘Be quiet’ on a Friday while the Imam is delivering the sermon, you have engaged in Laghw (idle talk or behaviour). إذا قلت لصاحبك : أنصت يوم الجمعة والإمام يخطب فقد لغوت
Sunan Ibn Majah 1110Sahih (Darussalam)
Yes.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.
