What is the ruling on the dhikr recited after the adhan and iqamah in a loud voice, and after the taslim of the prayer, where they recite al-Ikhlas and collective dhikr, and is it permissible to pray behind them?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah preserve you, Shaykh. We went on a trip to a neighboring Arab country and prayed in one of the mosques. The mu'adhdhin, when he finished the adhan, would recite certain phrases such as: "Peace and blessings be upon you, O Messenger of Allah, O unlettered Prophet," and phrases like that after finishing the adhan. Similarly, during the iqamah, he would make a supplication:
O Allah, the Lord of this complete call اللهم رب هذه الدعوة التامة
Sahih al-Bukhari 4719
.
And when he finished, he would say the same words. And at the taslim, at the end of the prayer, he would remind the worshippers of the daily recitation. He would say, for example:
Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One, قل هو الله أحد
[Al-Ikhlas 112:1]
, then they would complete it. Then he would say, starting with: "Allah, there is no god," then they would complete it. Then he would say:
Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One, قل هو الله أحد
[Al-Ikhlas 112:1]
, then they would complete it, and so on.

The Shaykh : Collectively?

The questioner : So what is your opinion? Yes, collectively. What is your opinion?

The Shaykh : Our view is that all of this is a religious innovation (bid'ah), because nothing is to be added to the adhan, nor to the iqamah. Likewise, after the taslim, the imam turns to the people, and he is engaged in dhikr, and they are engaged in dhikr, each for himself. And unfortunately, this may be found in some Islamic countries. It is well known that reviving innovations is the killing of the Sunnah. Yes.

The questioner : Praise be to Allah. We mentioned this to them, but should we pray with them or not?

The Shaykh : If you find a mosque that does not have these innovations, do not pray with them. And if you do not find anything but this, then pray, and when you say the taslim, leave. Do not follow them in this innovation.
