What is the ruling on sending blessings upon anyone other than the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : And here is a matter regarding our current time: We do not recommend that anyone prays earlier than the others.
And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), when people came to him with their charity, would say:
O Allah! Bestow Your Blessing upon the family of so-and-so. اللهم صلِّ على آل فلان
Sahih al-Bukhari 6332
. So if it is not adopted as a slogan, there is no harm. Likewise, if it is not adopted in a specific manner, for example by saying: “O Allah, send blessings upon the family of Taym, O Allah, send blessings upon the family of ‘Abd al-Wahhab,” and the like, then there is no harm. But adopting it as a slogan whenever he (peace and blessings be upon him) is mentioned is not permissible, because a person might imagine that this is a prophet among the prophets.
