What is the ruling on sitting after burying the deceased for the duration it takes to slaughter a camel?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Peace be upon you and Allah's mercy.

The Shaykh : And upon you be peace and the mercy of Allah.

The questioner : May Allah reward you, Shaykh. After burying the deceased, there is a hadith that says: "They remain for the duration it takes to slaughter a camel." What does that mean?

The Shaykh : May Allah reward you. 'Amr ibn al-'As (may Allah be pleased with him) recommended this, but it is not approved, because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not guide the community to it, and the Companions did not do it; they differed from him in this. In fact, when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) finished burying the deceased, he would stand over the grave and say:
Seek forgiveness for your brother and ask for him to be granted firmness استغفروا لأخيكم واسألوا له التثبيت
This is what is prescribed. One stands over the grave and says: "O Allah, make him firm, O Allah, make him firm, O Allah, make him firm, O Allah, forgive him, O Allah, forgive him, O Allah, forgive him," and then he departs. As for staying there, it is not prescribed.
