What is the meaning of the hadith: "A man may sleep and wake up to find that the trust has been removed from his heart"?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah reward you. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned the trust in the hadith:
Honesty descended from the Heavens and settled in the roots of the hearts of men نزلت الأمانة في جذر قلوب الرجال
Sahih al-Bukhari 7276
The issue is his statement:
Man will go to sleep during which honesty will be taken away from his heart ينام الرجل النومة فتقبض الأمانة من قلبه
Sahih al-Bukhari 7086
What is the reason for the removal of the trust?

The Shaykh : Yes, the intended meaning of this hadith, may Allah know best, is that a person sleeps with his heart upon the trust, then he wakes up and the trust has been removed from his heart, because he slept upon a trust in which he had no strength, so it was removed from his heart.
Or it can be said: he slept a sleep and the trust was removed from his heart, meaning: even after the sleep, and this is like the other hadith:
morning will come upon a man as a believer, who will be a disbeliever in the evening, and evening will come upon a believer, who will be a disbeliever in the morning يصبح الرجل مؤمناً ويمسي كافراً، ويمسي مؤمناً ويصبح كافراً
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2195Sahih (Darussalam)
.
It is not necessary that the trust be removed from his heart while he is sleeping; rather, he sleeps a sleep and then wakes up, and the trust is removed from his heart.

The questioner : And the reason?

The Shaykh : Because of what happened after he woke up.
If it is in one of those who came later?
