He said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) arrived, performed tawaf around the House seven times, prayed two rak'ahs behind the Maqam, and performed sa'y between al-Safa and al-Marwah. And there has been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent example.

سألنا ابن عمر عن رجل طاف بالبيت للعمرة ولم يطف بين الصفا والمروة أيأتي امرأته، فقال: قدم النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فطاف بالبيت سبعًا وصلى خلف المقام ركعتين وطاف بين الصفا والمروة وقد كان لكم في رسول الله أسوة حسنة
