The Meaning of the Poet's Saying: "By Allah, they have not differed for one of intellect, nor *** by transmission, nor by reason, nor by proof

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Then he said, may Allah have mercy on him:
"By Allah, they have not differed for one of intellect, nor *** by transmission, nor by reason, nor by proof
in denying possibility, nor in its opposite *** these are the minds, and we are those with intellects"

"in denying possibility" "Denying possibility" means negating the possibility, meaning they have not differed in negating the possibility, nor in its opposite, which is affirming the possibility. The author's statement means: there is no difference between the claim of the permanence of Allah's efficacy in the past and the permanence of His efficacy in the future. "These are the minds, and we are those with intellects" means: these are the minds, so bring the rational proof, and we are those with intellects; we have intellects that know as you know.
"So let him who is a differentiator bring the distinction *** a distinction that clarifies for the sound intellects"
"So let him bring it"; the lam here is for challenge, for the command intended as a challenge, meaning: if you have a difference between the sequence in the past and the future, bring it.
"So let him who is a differentiator bring the distinction *** a distinction that clarifies for the sound intellects"
Meaning, not a difference that is merely claimed, because for example, if it is said that if the sequence were permissible in the past, the pre-existence of created things would follow, we say: if the sequence were permissible in the future, the delay of created things would follow until they become like Allah. If this is impossible, then let that be impossible; and if this is permissible, then let that be permissible.
