The Meaning of the Poet’s Statement: “If the one who denies the attributes says that His subsistence *** by Himself or by another is invalid, for neither of these *** two matters is accepted unless it is possible”

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :“If the one who denies the attributes says that His subsistence *** by Himself or by another is invalid”
“For neither of these *** two matters is accepted unless it is possible”
If he says that His subsistence by Himself or by another is invalid, this means that we cannot say that He subsists by another, because this is a known invalidity. Indeed, Allah is free from need of everyone. If we said that He subsists by another, it would follow that He cannot be a Lord, because if He subsists by another, He would be in need of that other. Furthermore, He would be preceded by that other, because He is in need of it.
“For neither of these *** two matters is accepted unless it is possible”
