The Meaning of the Poet’s Statement: (Clarifying that the response to the supplication of the one in distress, whether he is a believer or a disbeliever) And likewise, the supplication of the one in distress also ascends *** forever to Him at every time

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"And likewise, the supplication of the one in distress also ascends *** forever to Him at every time"
This is from the mercy of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, that He responds to the one in distress when he calls upon Him at any time, even if he is a disbeliever. This is because Allah responds to him, for the mercy of Allah precedes His anger. The evidence for this, that the supplication of the disbeliever is answered in times of distress, is the statement of Allah the Exalted:
Is He [not best] who responds to the desperate one when he calls upon Him أمن يجيب المضطر إذا دعاه
[An-Naml 27:62]
He did not say "the believer," but rather He made the cause of the response being in a state of distress. A real example is when they are in a ship and the waves rise up against them,
supplicating Allah, sincere to Him in religion دعوا الله مخلصين له الدين
[Yunus 10:22]
He saves them; He saves them, even though He knows that they will associate partners with Him
But when He delivers them to the land, at once they associate others with Him فلما نجاهم إلى البر إذا هم يشركون
[Al-'Ankabut 29:65]
. But because of their distress, the mercy of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, precedes His anger, and He responds to the supplication of the one in distress. So the supplication of the one in distress ascends to Allah until He, Mighty and Majestic, responds to it.
