The Meaning of the Poet's Statement: "If what you have said is true, then *** the people have gone astray through the revelation and the Qur'an"

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"If what you have said is true, then *** the people have gone astray through the revelation and the Qur'an"
It is correct that if what they are saying were true, the revelation—meaning the Sunnah and the Qur'an—would be misguidance. Be careful, my brother.
Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven ينزل ربنا إلى السماء الدنيا
This is in the Sunnah, and the apparent meaning of the hadith is that the Essence descends. They say that whoever affirms that the Essence of Allah descends has committed disbelief. Therefore, the implication of the Sunnah would be disbelief. "He rose above the Throne" is in the Qur'an. "He rose above the Throne" means that Allah rose above the Throne with His Essence, in a manner befitting Him (Blessed and Exalted is He). They say that if we interpret "rose" by its apparent meaning from the word itself, this would be disbelief. Disbelief, in their claim, would be the implication of the Qur'an. So look at this evil statement, which necessitates that the implication of the speech of Allah and His Messenger is disbelief. And for this reason he said:
"If what you have said is true, then *** the people have gone astray through the revelation and the Qur'an"
"For in them is the opposite of what you said, and *** two opposites in reason do not coexist"
Correct.
The student: Correct.

The Shaykh : Very well.
