(The Agreement of the Asha'irah and the Batiniyyah to Wage War Against the People of the Sunnah and the Community) So leave off our enmity, for behind us is *** that heavy enemy full of grudges; they are your enemy and they

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"So leave off our enmity, for behind us is *** that heavy enemy full of grudges"
It means we have a third enemy; let us all unite, yes, let us support one another against him. And as the children say, "Let us all unite to be wary of him so that we can defeat him." He says:
"So leave off our enmity, for behind us is *** that heavy enemy full of grudges
They are your enemy and they are our enemies *** so all of us are equal in the war against them"

Who is this enemy? The People of the Sunnah. Listen to him.
Those who ascribe a body to Allah, yes. And what does he say? Let us look into this. All right, yes.
The student: We have "dhi" and not "dhu"

The Shaykh : What?
The student: "*** that heavy enemy full of grudges"
Yes, no, it does not work with the accusative case. It is either in the accusative or the nominative. I mean, the one I have has a valid interpretation, and the accusative is more valid than all of them.

The questioner : ... .

The Shaykh : It will come to us, if Allah wills. It is not broader in every respect, but from the aspect that they judged by reason and rejected the texts.

The questioner : ...

The Shaykh : That it is a noun, and "behind us" is a predicate placed before it, so "behind us" is...
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
I think we have a commentary that preceded us in which Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) mentioned the wrestling and arguing between those who interpret the attributes of Allah and those who interpret the texts of the Hereafter. And each of the two groups called the other to reconciliation, especially those who interpret the texts of the Hereafter, because those who interpret the attributes launched an attack on them and said, "What are you? You are disbelievers." So these called them to peace and said, "We are brothers and we are reconciled, so let us be united against our common enemy, who are those who ascribe a body to Allah." He said:
"They are your enemy and they are our enemies *** so all of us are equal in the war against them"
