The Shaykh : Except
"Aside from the speech of Allah, it is the ultimate limit; for it possesses the highest peaks of clarity"
True, meaning that except for the speech of Allah, it is clearer than the speech of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), because the speech of Allah is the clearest, most eloquent, and most explicit of speech. However, our understanding is limited and weak; we do not understand this great speech with true understanding. Therefore, some people may think that the speech of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) is not the clearest of speech. This is undoubtedly true, and it is due to what? Due to their deficiency or negligence. But the reality of the matter, by Allah, is that the speech of Allah is the clearest of speech. Indeed, Allah the Exalted said in His Book, informing and committing to it:
And We have certainly made the Qur'an easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember? ولقد يسرنا القرآن للذكر فهل من مدكر
[Al-Qamar 54:17]
Do not you prefer that you remember? The Qur'an is made easy
And We have certainly made the Qur'an easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember? ولقد يسرنا القرآن للذكر فهل من مدكر
[Al-Qamar 54:17]
But unfortunately, especially in this age, we recite the Qur'an, or most of us recite the Qur'an, for the sake of seeking blessing and attaining reward through its recitation, not for reflection and understanding the meaning. And so its great meaning has been veiled from us, and it has become difficult for us. He says:
"Aside from the speech of Allah, it is the ultimate limit; for it possesses the highest peaks of clarity"
