This is a sign of its removal, and these are *** its indicators in the last of times (Explanation that the Qur'an will be removed in the last of times due to people's turning away from it, said by Shaykh al-Uthaymeen

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : He says: "This is a sign of its removal, and these are *** its indicators in the last of times"
He means: He says that people's turning away from the Qur'an is among the signs or indicators of its removal in the last of times, because in the last of times this Qur'an will be removed, may Allah not let us reach that time. It will be removed from the mushafs and from the hearts out of respect and reverence for it, when people turn away from it completely. This was in the era of Ibn al-Qayyim, who was in the eighth century, so what about our era now? The signs of the removal of the Qur'an are now very numerous. And just as in the last of times a man from the Abyssinians will be empowered against the Ka'bah, a man in whom there is no good, the one with the prominent calves, short in stature, who will be empowered against it, standing upon it and dismantling it stone by stone, and nothing will come to him. The people of the Elephant, despite their strength, here? They were destroyed completely, but in the last of times the Ka'bah will be violated, and its reverence will be outward only, while inwardly, well, there is no end to it. The signs of the destruction of the Ka'bah now may be apparent. Whenever open sinfulness and lewdness increase in Makkah, this is among the signs of the nearness of its destruction, may Allah grant us safety. For Allah (Mighty and Majestic) is jealous for His House that there be with Him someone who does not respect it or revere it except outwardly. The outward appearance is of no benefit. What is the maintenance of the sacred mosques? It is by obedience to Allah (Mighty and Majestic)
The mosques of Allah are only to be maintained by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day and establish prayer and give zakah and do not fear except Allah إنما يعمر مساجد الله من آمن بالله واليوم الآخر وأقام الصلاة وآتى الزكاة ولم يخش إلا الله
[At-Tawbah 9:18]
.
So the conclusion is that Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) says: The signs and evidence for the removal of the Qur'an are people's turning away from it.
